30th Anniversary of Mighty Max Celebration!

The heyday of Mighty Max was 1992-1993, so it's exciting to see that a fan is making something big happen for the 30th anniversary!

Jen Tso Tseng posted on the Mighty Max World Wide Facebook page that new Mighty Max "Shrunken Head"-style toys are coming soon:

"Hello, Mighty Max collectors! I couldn't wait for new Mighty Max toys, so I registered the Mighty Max trademark in Taiwan and initiated the 30th-anniversary event among fans in 2022. I acquired the prototype of Warmonger, completed its restoration, held a collection exhibition, and developed a whole new generation of Mighty Max toys. I've planned an entire parallel world from the perspective of continuing the Mighty Max spirit, with Robin as the successor to carry on the tradition of pocket-sized adventures and the imaginative universe we once had. Yes, you may have seen the news about pre-orders for 'Cross Mighty Max's Hat' and 'Hunting Rudolph.' If you're interested, fellow enthusiasts can pre-order them on BBTS or other international online platforms. This way, you can save on the high international shipping fees from Taiwan. After all, their prices are quite low, with the basic version at $15 and the variant version at $19. Paying high shipping fees is not a good option. These will be the beginning of a series of new toys, with larger Doom Zone-sized toys and even bigger sets to follow. The products are expected to be shipped in early December, so I believe you'll receive them in time for Christmas. Finally, I still sincerely hope that Mattel can reintroduce the Mighty Max toy series. After all, I'm still that kid who loved Mighty Max toys produced 30 years ago. *If any fans have a significant demand for quantities, feel free to contact me, and I will provide friendly discounts."

I checked out BigBadToyStore's website, and sure enough, it's easy to preorder these Mighty Max toys on there.

I thought the coolest idea was a set based on Max's iconic red cap, so that is the one I preordered. The total came to $23.99 including the shipping to the United States. It says "Estimated to arrive 3rd Quarter 2023."

The item's name on there is "Mighty Max 30th Anniversary Cross Mighty Max's Hat Diorama," but you can just search Mighty Max to see all four sets.

There are two versions of the hat (the metallic silver variant "Chaos Version" is more expensive).

The other set on offer is the "Mighty Max 30th Anniversary Hunting Rudolph Diorama." This is a reindeer set with snowy antlers and a red nose. There is a glow in the dark variant of this one. It seems there are plans for other horror versions of holiday myths. This is also the creators' idea for a "sequel" to Mighty Max. I believe this character with the brown hair, black hat, and red vest is called "Mighty Robin" You can see him holding a lantern above.

So let me know your thoughts on this in the comments! I can't believe a fan thought to register the trademark in their country, successful got it, designed the toys, and is now mass producing them for worldwide sale! Very impressive!!
